Privacy policy
This policy explains what information imadetools.com ("we", "us") handles and why. The site is maintained by an independent solo developer.
1. Files you use in our tools stay on your device
The photo resizer works entirely inside your web browser. When you choose a photo, it is opened, resized and compressed on your own computer or phone. The photo, its file name and the finished result are not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.
The "Clear current customer's files" button removes the photo and the result from the page's memory. Closing or leaving the page does the same. Files you choose to download are saved by your browser to your device, like any other download; delete them there when you no longer need them.
2. Information stored in your browser
To save you retyping, your browser remembers the last tool settings you used (width, height, KB range, format and fit). This is kept in your browser's local storage on your device only and is never sent to us. No photos or file names are stored. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and the tools load no third-party code or fonts.
3. Information our hosting provider processes
The website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives standard technical details when your browser requests a page — such as your IP address, browser type and the page address — in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. These requests contain no file you use in the tools. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
4. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive the details you choose to share (for example your name, email address or phone number and your message). We use them only to reply and help you, and keep them only as long as needed for that or as required by law. Please do not send us customer documents.
5. Paid operator workspace (not yet launched)
We plan to offer a paid workspace for shops and service centres. When it launches, we will need basic account details (such as name, business name, phone and email) and subscription records. Payments will be handled by a payment gateway (such as Razorpay); we will not see or store your full card or bank details. We will update this policy before the workspace launches, describing exactly what is collected.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run the site (such as our hosting provider), or when required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to support@imadetools.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The tools are general-purpose utilities. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
