Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of imadetools.com and its tools (the "service"), maintained by an independent solo developer ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms.
1. The service
imadetools provides browser-based tools to resize and compress photos (and, later, signatures and documents) for use in application forms. The free tools can be used without an account. The tools run on your device; files are not uploaded to us (see the privacy policy).
2. No affiliation; check official requirements
We are not connected to, or approved by, any government department, exam body or recruiting organisation. Form requirements differ and change. You are responsible for checking the official instructions and the output before submitting it. A file that meets a size or KB limit may still be rejected for other reasons (for example the photo's background, face position, age of the photo, or a live-capture rule). We do not guarantee that any application will be accepted.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use the tools only for files you have the right to process, and with your customers' consent where applicable.
- Do not use the service to create forged, misleading or unlawful documents.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service for harmful purposes.
- Keep your own copies of important files. We do not store them and cannot recover them.
4. Paid operator workspace
We plan to offer a paid operator workspace at ₹499 per month (taxes as applicable). When it is available:
- The price, billing period and renewal terms will be shown clearly before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time; see the refund & cancellation policy.
- Access is delivered online, on your device, immediately after payment is confirmed. Nothing is shipped physically.
- We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 15 days' notice. Changes never apply to a period already paid for.
5. Availability and changes
We try to keep the service available and working correctly but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of the period.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The free tools are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed application deadline or a rejected application. For paid services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
7. Intellectual property
The site, its design and code belong to us. Files you process remain yours; we claim no rights over them.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Nagpur will have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
